Escaping into Video Games

I understand now why I gravitate towards video games. It's to escape the current reality that I'm in.
When it comes to working from home, it's to escape from my boring or stressful job. Lately, it has been less boring and more on the stressful side. Like really stressful this time around. And video games serve as a distraction from all that stress.
I think for me to want to escape to video games, it means that the job just does not appeal to me, or does not keep me interested enough to keep working.
Maybe I should find a new job.
